Žiarská Valley is a significant 8 km long valley for its signed tourist path heading to Smutne sedlo to the main ridge of the Rohace mountains. Ziarska dolina starts at so-called „Rohace´s group“ among peaks Plactive, Tri kopy and Banikov (2178 meters above sea level).
